Mystic Haiku

I am really happy to share with you my second haiku collection. I hope you will enjoy reading. All of the poetry  has a mystic theme. The accompanying photographs were taken in and around the Holderness area of East Yorkshire.

Still water by Jill Webb

When their fingers touched,
No words were necessary.
They fused into one.

Golden reflections by Jill Webb

Sometimes you need to
Throw caution to the wind to
Sail on golden seas.

Ethereal clouds by Jill Webb

Ethereal clouds
Guiding me safely home
On a silver bow wave.

What you failed to say
Was what I needed to hear -
Whirlpools of deceit.
~~~~~~~~~
Lost in a whirlpool,
Unable to see how far
The ripples have spread.
How is it your life
Remains unaffected, when
Mine is broken glass.
Faint reflections of
Birds in flight, a memory
Caught in silver sand.
Silver sunset by Jill Webb
There are some things I
Can only discuss with you
And the setting sun.
Turquoise sunset over Welwick marsh
Another sunset,
But still, unanswered questions.
Gold rays tinged with blue.
Trying to see things
In black and white but crashing
Against splintered rocks.
